I’m a Berlin-based academic and translator working in the field of social philosophy, political theory, and modern intellectual history with a focus on Critical Theory. I’m particularly interested in theories of authoritarianism and (anti-)fascism, social-natural relations, environmental justice, and the philosophy of hope and utopianism.
My PhD project re-examines the concept of the ‘domination of nature’ in the early Frankfurt School and adjacent thinkers like Ernst Bloch. Before coming to Berlin, I’ve studied philosophy and political science in Tübingen, Birmingham, and Bologna, and ‘Political Thought and Intellectual History’ at Cambridge.
